Running this week at Wimbledon Studios is Theatresque’s new musical ‘Somewhere in England’, all about the impact a group of American GI’s have on a rural English community during World War II. Alpha’s Patsy Blower puts on her dancing shoes and lends her considerable singing voice to the proceedings. However if you’re looking to attend I have bad news folks…it’s already a sell-out! After running and raising money in last year’s first Spotlight Challenge Alpha were back again this year taking part in the 5k and 10k challenge at Regents Park. Last year’s runner David Sayers was joined by Adam Seigel, Greg Lockett, Lindon Alexander and Anah Ruddin and all runners did themselves proud in a great day in the sun. Well done guys!

A recent Poor School graduate Jessica Flood spent the summer performing at the Edinburgh Festival with fellow Alpha and Poor School alumni Tiannah Viechweg in their production of Debbie Tucker Green’s ‘Hang. Receiving stellar reviews and praise we are delighted to welcome Jessica to the Alpha family.
Triple Jump’s one-man production of ‘The Trial’ ran at the Brockley Jack Theatre throughout August and Brendan O’Rourke received huge praise for his portrayal of Joseph K. Told as one monologue whilst Joseph waits in his cell Brendan got a chance to demonstrate his amazing versatility by portraying all the characters in this classic story.
